ELIGIBILITY

Foreign nationals of countries under this category will require a visa to enter Brunei Darussalam. Visa application can be applied through the nearest Brunei Darussalam’s Mission Abroad.

PROCEDURE

Visa issued for the purpose of social  visit or for a tourist
i)    Visa applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam’s Mission Abroad are based:

Complete documentations for the visa application need to be submitted in person by the applicant to Brunei Darussalam’s Mission Abroad.

ii)    For applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam’s Missions Abroad is not available:

Complete documentations for the visa application may be sent via secured courier with a prepaid postage self-addressed return envelope through a secured courier.

As when necessary, applicants may also be interviewed via telephone or in person by the representatives of Brunei Darussalam’s Missions Abroad.

BUSINESS VISITS

PROCEDURES

• Business Visit Visa is issued for the purpose of investment or business related activities in Brunei Darussalam
  
• Business Visit Visa is required to be applied by the registered business company or government-linked company in Brunei Darussalam on behalf of the applicant.
  
• The visa application is to be submitted to the Visa and Diplomatic Section, Department of Immigration and National Registration, Brunei Darussalam.
  
• Subject to the information stated in the approval letter, the applicant can proceed to the nearest Brunei Darussalam Mission Abroad to be issued with the relevant visa stamp. 
  

PROCEDURES

• Professional Visit Visa issued for the purpose of professional work/expertise required for a particular project awarded in Brunei Darussalam.
  
• Professional Visit Visa is required to be applied by the government agencies / government-linked company / business registered company in Brunei Darussalam on behalf of the applicant.
  
• The visa application is to be submitted to the Visa and Diplomatic Section, Department of Immigration and National Registration, Brunei Darussalam.
  
• Subject to the information stated in the approval letter, the applicant can proceed to the nearest Brunei Darussalam Mission Abroad to be issued with the relevant visa stamp.
