Functions

To provide recommendations that guide and shape the country's foreign policy interests by assessing and analyzing the current regional and global trends in the short, medium and long term;

To coordinate with other Departments within the Ministry on certain issues as tasked by the Ministry;

To oversee the establishment of diplomatic relations with other countries.
