Category B​ - Visa Applications through Brunei Darussalam's Mission Abroad


ELIGIBILITY

Foreign nationals of countries in this category will require a visa to enter Brunei Darussalam and which can be  applied through the nearest Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad.


PROCEDURE:

Applications through Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad:

Submit your visa application at the nearest Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad.  The Directory of Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad can be found here​. 


SOCIAL VISITS

Visas issued to foreign nationals intending to enter into Brunei Darussalam for visit purposes.

(I)        For applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad are based:
Applications (with the required documents) are to be sent in person by the applicant to Brunei Darussalam's Mi​ssions Abroad.

Required Documentation

(a) Completed visa application form (can be found here​)
(b) Original passport with an expiry date of no less than six months.
(c) 2 recent coloured passport-sized photos
(d) A copy of confirmed return flight ticket
(e) A copy of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam – hotel reservation form or address of stay in Brunei Darussalam 
(f) Contact details of the applicant​


(II)      For applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad is not available:
Applications (with the required documents) can be sent via secured courier with a prepaid postage self-addressed return envelope through a secured courier as well.

As and when necessary, applicants may also be interviewed via telephone by Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad ​

BUSINESS VISITS

Visas issued to foreign nationals intending to enter into Brunei Darussalam for the purpose of business, investments, companies and any business-related matters.​

(I)        For applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad are based:

Applications (with the required documents) are to be sent in person by the applicant to Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad.​

Required Documentation

(a) Completed visa application form (can be found here​)
(b) Application letter from the guarantor or company 
(c) Supporting letter from the Government of Brunei Darussalam or relevant company 
(d) Approval letter to hold an expo or business from the relevant local agencies such as the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism 
(e) Copy of Labour License 16 dan 17 or Form X  
(f) Applicant’s original passport with an expiry date of no less than six months. 
(g) Copy of the guarantor’​s business license in the country of origin as proof that the applicant is a businessperson 
(h) 2 recent coloured passport-sized photos
(i) Identification card of the guarantor (original and copy)
(j) Passport of the guarantor, if a foreign national (original and copy)
(k) A copy of confirmed return flight ticket. 
(l) A copy of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam – hotel reservation form or address of stay in Brunei Darussalam  
(m) Contact details of the applicant​​​



(II)      For applications from coun​tries where Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad is not available:

PROFESSIONAL VISITS

Visas issued to foreign nationals intending to enter into Brunei Darussalam for professional, consultation and expertise purposes where their services are required in Brunei Darussalam.

(I)        For applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad are based:

Applications (with the required documents) are to be sent in person by the applicant to Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad.

(c) Supporting letter from the Government of Brunei Darussalam or relevant company 
(d) Letter of project offer or appointment letter by the Government of Brunei Darussalam or relevant parties.  
(e) Copy of Labour License 16 dan 17 or Form X  
(f) Applicant’s original passport with an expiry date of no less than six months. 
(g) Verification letter of the applicant’s expertise service or profession from his/her company in the country of origin
(h) 2 recent coloured passport-sized photos
(i) Identification card of the guarantor (original and copy)
(j) Passport of the guarantor, if a foreign national (original and copy)
(k) A copy of confirmed return flight ticket. 
(l) A copy of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam – hotel reservation form or address of stay in Brunei Darussalam  
(m) Contact details of the applicant

Processing Fee
A processing fee of BND20.00 or its equivalent in USD per visa application will be required at the time of submission.  The fee collected is not refundable.​


Processing Time
The processing time is two (2) working days (excluding the date of submission) to process. 


Collection of Visa

(I)        For applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad are based:
The applicant's passport with issued visa can be collected at Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad where the application was made.

 

(II)      For applications from countries where Brunei Darussalam's Missions Abroad is not available:
The applicant's passport with issued visa will be returned via the prepaid postage self-addressed return envelope through a secured courier.
