Visa on Arrival

Holders of all types of passports under this category may apply visa (visa on arrival) upon entry into Brunei Darussalam.

PROCEDURE:


Applicants are required to fill in Visa Form and arrival card which is available in all incoming flights to Brunei Darussalam.


** Note: Visa application is required:

  1. for stay/visit of more than the given visa waiver’s period.

BUSINESS VISITS

PROCEDURES

  • Business Visit Visa is issued for the purpose of investment or business related activities in Brunei Darussalam.
  • Business Visit Visa is required to be applied by the registered business company or government-linked company in Brunei Darussalam on behalf of the applicant.
  • The visa application is to be submitted to the Visa and Diplomatic Section, Department of Immigration and National Registration, Brunei Darussalam.
  • Subject to the information stated in the approval letter, the applicant can proceed to the nearest Brunei Darussalam Mission Abroad to be issued with the relevant visa stamp. 
PROCESSING PERIOD/TIME

  • The general processing time for Business Visit Visa is as follows:
    • 3 working days for application submitted at Headquarters, Department of Immigration and National Registration and Kuala Belait branch office.
    • 5 working days for application submitted at Temburong branch office.
  • Some applications may take longer to process, should it require further assessment.
Required Documents:

Applicants for Business Visit Visa are required to attach the following documents with the complete visa application form:
  1. Application letter and any supporting documents from the guarantor /company in Brunei Darussalam.
  2. Supporting letter from the Government of Brunei Darussalam or relevant registered company.
  3. Any supporting documents from the applicant.

PROFESSIONAL VISITS

PROCEDURES

  • Professional Visit Visa issued for the purpose of professional work/expertise required for a particular project awarded in Brunei Darussalam.
  • Professional Visit Visa is required to be applied by the government agencies / government-linked company / business registered company in Brunei Darussalam on behalf of the applicant.
  • The visa application is to be submitted to the Visa and Diplomatic Section, Department of Immigration and National Registration, Brunei Darussalam.
  • Subject to the information stated in the approval letter, the applicant can proceed to the nearest Brunei Darussalam Mission Abroad to be issued with the relevant visa stamp.
