Functions

• Providing support and assistance to Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and other government agencies on matters relating to treaties and memoranda of understanding (MoUs), international and domestic law.
• Participate and represent Brunei Darussalam in relevant international meetings and negotiations.
• Manage and safekeep original copies of treaties and MoUs, as well as maintaining an up to date record/registry of many non-treaty arrangements or understandings (MoUs) entered into by Brunei Government.
• Preparation of the formal instruments relating to the signature or ratification of international agreements.
