The Socialist  Republic of ​Viet Nam



  • Brunei Darussalam (BD) and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam established Diplomatic Relations on 29 February 1992.

  • Both countries enjoy good cooperation in areas such as trade and investment; energy; agriculture and fisheries; labour; education; and defence.

  • Royal Brunei (RB) currently operates flights to Ho Chi Minh, five times per week.

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended the 25th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) in Da Nang

Feb 2017 

Pehin Dato Lim Jock Seng, then Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, visited Viet Nam for the 1st Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) between Brunei Darussalam and Viet Nam.
