Transit visa may be granted to the nationals of the People’s Republic of China, Australia, Russia, Tajikistan, Mongolia, India, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan, if they are on transit to or from a third country by air. However, they are required to fulfil the following conditions:
- Have a valid passport
- Have a confirmed onward air-ticket
- A valid visa to the third country, where appropriate
- The passenger continue their journey to the third country within the 72 hours from transit visa granted
- Sufficient funds throughout the period of transit in Brunei Darussalam

Transit visa may also be granted to all nationals holding validResidence Permit issued by Australia, New Zealand, United States of America (USA), Japan and United Kingdom and required to fulfill the conditions mentioned above.
- Extension of visa is not permitted.
Single Entry Visa: Visa is used for a single journey to enter Brunei Darussalam.
Multiple Entry Visa: Visa is used for multiple journeys into Brunei Darussalam.
