Brunei Darussalam is following closely the recent developments in the southern provinces of the Republic of Yemen and commends the ongoing diplomatic efforts to encourage de‑escalation and constructive engagement between all relevant parties.
We welcome the convening of a comprehensive conference to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to bring together all southern factions in the Republic of Yemen.
Brunei Darussalam underscores the importance of a lasting political solution in the Republic of Yemen towards safeguarding regional peace and stability.
