His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, today granted an audience to Mr. Nikolas Myint, United Nations Resident Coordinator for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam, at Istana Nurul Izzah, Jerudong.
His Royal Highness congratulated Mr. Nikolas Myint on his designation as the United Nations Resident Coordinator. His Royal Highness expressed appreciation for the longstanding partnership between Brunei Darussalam and the United Nations, while welcoming the opportunity to further deepen cooperation during Mr. Nikolas Myint's tenure. The United Nations Resident Coordinator also presented his Letter of Designation to His Royal Highness.
Mr. Nikolas Myint was appointed as the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam by His Excellency António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, effective 31 May 2026.
