The warm friendship and long-standing cooperation enjoyed by Brunei Darussalam and Canada are greatly valued, and I welcome opportunities to deepen these important ties, particularly as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations this year.
I also look forward to strengthening this partnership through our work together in the ASEAN-Canada Dialogue Relations, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and the Commonwealth.
