I am pleased to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and to the Government and people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh as you celebrate your Independence Day.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 40 years ago, Brunei Darussalam and the People's Republic of Bangladesh have shared warm friendship and close cooperation in various mutually beneficial areas. Brunei Darussalam looks forward to continue working with Bangladesh to further enhance these important ties both bilaterally and through our work in the multilateral fora.
As we approach this holy month of Ramadhan 1445 Hijra, I would also like to convey my very best wishes to Your Excellency and family, and may our prayers and good deeds during this blessed month be accepted. May Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala grant Your Excellency with continued good health and happiness and the people of Bangladesh with peace, progress and prosperity.
