I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Your Highness on the recent passing of our dearest and beloved brother His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.
Under His Highness's wise leadership, the State of Kuwait achieved great strides, building on the strong foundations laid by his predecessors. His Highness was a respectable statesman that will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his wisdom and care for his people.
The Government and the people of Brunei Darussalam and all members of my family join me in expressing our heartfelt condolences to Your Highness and the Royal Family at this time of bereavement.
Allow me to also take this opportunity to convey my warmest congratulations on Your Highness' appointment as the Amir of the State of Kuwait. I wish Your Highness much success and I believe the State of Kuwait will continue to prosper and accomplish many more successes under your leadership. I look forward to working closely with Your Highness in deepening the warm and brotherly relations shared between our two countries.
