I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your beloved father His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.
The State of Kuwait made significant progress under his wise leadership, bringing prosperity to the country and his people. His Highness's demise is indeed a great loss to your country and will be dearly missed for his invaluable wisdom and dedication he devoted to the people of the State of Kuwait.
On behalf of my family as well as the Government and people of Brunei Darussalam, I extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Your Highness and the Royal Family as well as the Government and people of the State of Kuwait at this time of personal loss.
I pray to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala that the soul of the late His Highness will be among the blessed ones.
