I am deeply saddened to learn of the recent bombings in Jolo, Sulu.
Brunei Darussalam strongly condemns such act of violence against civilians at places of worships which have led to the tragic loss of innocent lives and caused injuries.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Brunei Darussalam, I wish to convey our condolences to the Government and people of the Philippines, especially to the bereaved families and communities affected by this tragedy.
