Applicants are required to submit the following documents in person when applying for a visa:

• Original passport of the applicant (The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date of departure and contain at least four (4) blank pages).
• One (1) completed visa application form.
• One (1) recent passport-sized photograph.
• Covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose of the visa application, and/or an invitation/guarantee/sponsorship letter from a host in Brunei Darussalam (family or friends), if applicable.
• Copy of confirmed return air ticket or e-ticket receipt (open tickets are not accepted).
• Proof of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam (e.g., hotel reservation or confirmation of stay).
• Proof of sufficient fund to support the stay in Brunei Darussalam (e.g., recent bank statements).

Visa Fees:

• Single Entry Visa - BND 20.00 per applicant.
• Multiple Entry Visa (valid for three (3) months) - BND 30.00 per applicant.

All fees are payable in Qatari Riyals (QAR), based on the prevailing exchange rate set by the Government of Brunei Darussalam.

Applicants applying for a Professional or Business Visa (Pre-approved) are required to submit the following documents in person:

• Original passport of the applicant (the passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the intended date of departure and contain a minimum of four (4) blank pages).
• One (1) completed visa application form.
• One (1) recent passport-sized photograph.
• Pre-approved Letter of Authority issued by the Department of Immigration and National Registration of Brunei Darussalam.
• Copy of a confirmed return air ticket or e-ticket receipt (open tickets are not accepted).

Visa Fees:

• Single Entry Visa: BND 20.00 per applicant
• Multiple Entry Visa (valid for three (3) months): BND 30.00 per applicant

All fees are payable in Qatari Riyals (QAR), based on the prevailing exchange rate set by the Government of Brunei Darussalam.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The requirements listed above are those required by the Embassy for visa processing.

Please note that the initial application for a Pre-Approved Professional / Business Visa must first be obtained from the immigration authorities of Brunei Darussalam. The procedure and documentation for this initial application may vary and should be arranged directly with the Department of Immigration and National Registration of Brunei Darussalam.

Applications for an Employment Visa must be submitted to the Embassy in person or through the respective authorized agency.

Applicants are required to provide the following documents:

• One (1) completed visa application form;

• One (1) recent passport-sized photograph;
• Original passport valid for at least six (6) months from the intended date of travel to Brunei Darussalam;
• Pre-approved Letter of Authority issued by the Department of Immigration and National Registration of Brunei Darussalam;
• Copy of offer letter from employer in Brunei Darussalam;
• Agency endorsement letter, if the application is submitted through an agent.

Pre-Departure Medical Fitness Examination (Qatar)

Applicants are required to undergo pre-departure medical fitness examinations in the State of Qatar under the following circumstances:

• Individuals who will be working in Brunei Darussalam for the first time.
• Individuals returning to work in Brunei Darussalam with a different employer (change of employer).
• Individuals returning to work with the same employer but who have been on vacation in the State of Qatar for six (6) months or more.

Visa Fee:

• Employment Visa - BND 20.00 per applicant.
