Police Certificate of Good Conduct

Requirements to obtain a Police Certificate of Good Conduct are as follows:

  • Duly completed application form with recent photo attached. For application form click here.
  • An explanatory letter addressed to the Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force explaining the reason for requesting the Certificate of Good Conduct, and some background of the applicant's previous stay in Brunei Darussalam (3 copies).
  • Photocopy of letter from the concerned High Commission / Embassy requeting for Police Certificate with the applicant's complete name and case number (3 copies).
  • Photocopies of the relevant pages of the latest valid passport and the old passports used during their stay in Brunei Darussalam (3 copies)
  • Photocopies of identification card and driver's license issued by Brunei Darussalam Government (3 copies)

Submission of Police Certificate of Good Conduct application is from 9:00 to 11:00 am (Monday to Friday)

Birth Certificate

Foreign nationals born in Brunei Darussalam and wishes to obtain a Certified Copy of Birth Certificate, should submit the application through the Embassy with the following requirements:

  • Duly completed application form. For application form click here;
  • An explanatory letter from the father addressed to the Department of Immigration and National Registration, Brunei Darussalam stating reason(s) for applying.
  • A copy of Birth Certificate;
