On 25 March 2024, The Honourable Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II and The Rt Hon Lord Benyon, Minister of State (Climate, Environment and Energy) at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs co-hosted an iftar dinner to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom.
During the dinner, both Minsiters reaffirmed the strong relationship between the two countries built on the long-standing friendship and cooperation enjoyed at all levels, noting the extensive cooperation in defence and security, education, trade and investment, as well as climate change.
The dinner was attended by representatives from Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom.
