1. The 267th ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Meeting took place on 8 August 2023 at Conrad Hotel. All ASEAN Member States’ Head of Missions in Egypt attended the meeting, which was hosted by Embassy of Cambodia and chaired by H.E. Mr. Pg Salimin Daud, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Egypt.
2. H.E. Mr. Pg Salimin Daud, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam among others highlighted past ACC activities that have taken place as of recent.
Handing over ACC Chairmanship and treasurer
3. During the meeting, the ACC Chairmanship was handed over from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam to Embassy of Cambodia.
4. The role of ACC Treasurer was also handed over from the Embassy of Cambodia to the Embassy of Indonesia.
