On 17 March 2024, the ASEAN Committee in Cairo hosted the Joint Iftar at the Diplomatic Club in Downtown, Cairo.
The event was attended by more than 110 guests from Egyptian officials from various ministries, representatives from the Al Azhar, members of the media as well as staffs and families from the ASEAN embassies.
During the event His Excellency Ambassador Lutfi Rauf in his capacity as Chair of ACC welcomed all the guests and shared the information about ASEAN.
