The 50th Anniversary of ASEAN Day Reception was held on 27 September 2017 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Muscat. It was jointly hosted by ASEAN missions in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman namely the Embassies of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Consulate-General of Singapore. The Chief Guest of Honour during the reception was H.E. Dr. Ali bin Mas'oud bin Ali Al-Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry.
