H.E. Haji Mahadi bin Maidin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Jordan hands over a donation to Tamara Alrifai, Director of External Relations and Communications at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in Amman, Jordan.

H.E. Haji Mahadi Maidin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam presented a donation of over 100,000 food packs to Tamara Alrifai, Director of External Relations and Communications at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The event took place at UNRWA headquarters in Amman, Jordan.
The food aid was a part of the public fund collection which ran for three months from May to August 2021. The food aid will be distributed to 120,000 children aged six and 15 years in 77 locations, who will be joining in the UNRWA Summer Initiative.
The ceremony was joined virtually by the Permanent Secretary (Community) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari as Co-Chair of the National Committee of the Palestine Humanitarian Fund 2021 and Ghanim International Corporation Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Dr Nur Rahman.
