The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Manama hosted the 1st ASEAN Badminton tournament at Muharaq Sports Club. Guest of Honour during the tournament was His Excellency Dr.Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain. At the tournament, Brunei Darussalam positioned third in point collection and declared as the 2nd Runner Up to receive Bronze medals.
