Pusat Persidangan Antarabangsa or the
International Convention Centre (ICC) was completed in 1989 and played host to a number of meetings during Brunei Darussalam’s first Chairmanship of ASEAN in 1989. At that time, ICC consisted of the Main Conference and Muzakarah Halls as well as several meeting and function rooms. In 1999, ICC was further expanded to include the Plenary, Perpaduan, Musyawarah, Press Conference and Multi-Purpose Halls as Brunei Darussalam became APEC Chair in 2000.
ICC hosts hundreds of events annually from National to International Government Events; Meetings and Expos such as the Biennial Consumer Fair as well as the private events such as weddings and celebrations.
ICC has been the main venue for almost every major international meeting in Brunei Darussalam including during Brunei Darussalam’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 1989, 2001, 2013 and 2021. ICC is also the location for several departments under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam.
ICC remains the premier venue for hosting events in Brunei Darussalam for the capacity and variety of halls and rooms that caters for almost every occasion.
