The ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI) was chaired by H.E. Dato Paduka Mahmud Saidin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam in Islamabad, for the period of 6 months from 25 October 2016. ACI held monthly meetings where Ambassadors and coordinators of ACI member countries update each other on various agendas.
The chairmanship was handed over to Indonesia on 25 April 2017.
