THE EMBASSY OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM IN BEIJING RECEIVES DONATION OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FROM CHINESE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND COMPANIES

The Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Beijing, People’s Republic of China has received several donations of medical equipment from public and private entities of the People’s Republic of China, intended to help fight the COVID-19 outbreak in Brunei Darussalam, as follows:

  1. On 23 March 2020, the Management Committee of China-Arab States Youth Entrepreneurship Park donated 2019-nCoV IgG/IgM Antibody Rapid Test Kits, facemasks, protective suits, hand sanitizer, and a bed tent for hospital beds and ventilators.

  2. Also on 23 March 2020, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Guanghua Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. announced a donation of 9,000 tablets of Chloroquine phosphate and 1,000 Xiaochaihu granules.

  3. On 28 March 2020, Nanjing Chemical Construction Co. Ltd. donated medical supplies, including 51,000 disposable masks, 10,000 vinyl examination gloves, 1,000 protective clothing and 1,000 Coronavirus Triplex RT-Qpcr Testing kits.

  4. On 28 March 2020, the Department of Commerce of the People’s Government of Guangxi ZAR expressed interest in donating 5,000 N95 masks, 50,000 surgical masks, 500 pieces of protective clothing, 1,000 protective goggles, 1,000 quarantine suits, and 250 hand held radar thermometers.
