It is with much pleasure that I extend my warmest congratulations to you and to the Government and people of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the occasion of your 69th Independence Day.
Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Cambodia enjoy warm and long-standing ties in various areas of cooperation. As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations, I am confident that our friendship and cooperation both bilaterally and through regional mechanisms will continue to be strengthened during my upcoming State Visit and flourish in the years to come.
I look forward to working with you towards the success of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits. I extend to you our full support for Cambodia's ASEAN Chairmanship this year and welcome further opportunities to promote our Community-building efforts.
