Istana Nurul Iman, Tuesday, 29th November 2022

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa‘adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, this afternoon received His Excellency Dato Paduka Lim Jock Hoi, outgoing Secretary-General of ASEAN.

The appointment of His Excellency as Secretary-General of ASEAN was officiated on 5th January 2018, in which His Excellency served from 2018 to 2022. His Excellency was recently honoured by His Excellency Prime Minister of Cambodia during the Closing Ceremony of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits for his contributions throughout his tenure.

Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Audience Ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
