His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, this afternoon presented Letters of Credence to newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys and received Letters of Credence from newly appointed Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam first presented Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Datin Paduka Malai Hajah Halimah binti Malai Haji Yussof, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; Her Excellency Datin Paduka Hajah Rakiah binti Haji Abdul Lamit @ Hamid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of France; His Excellency Pengiran Muhammad Husaini bin Pengiran Penggawa Laila Bentara Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana Pengiran Haji Alauddin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Russian Federation; His Excellency Garry Ramlee bin Ibrahim, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Australia; and His Excellency Pengiran Salimin bin Pengiran Mohd Daud, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Arab Republic of Egpyt.
His Majesty then received Letters of Credence from Her Excellency Boosara Kanchanalai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam; His Excellency Major General (Retd) Farhat Abbas Sani, Hilal-e-Imtiaz, High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam; and Her Excellency Ambra Dickie, High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei Darussalam.
After the Ceremonies, His Majesty received in audience the newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys and the newly appointed Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
The Audience Ceremonies took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
