The "ASEAN Charity Fun Walk" was held on 21 May 2017 at Koh Pich (Diamond Island) in Phnom Penh. The walk was part of a series of events being organized this year by the Embassy of all ASEAN countries in Cambodia to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of ASEAN. Guest of Honour HE Luy David, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and HE Trac Thai Sieng, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh were present to officiate the event. Approximately 500 people comprising of ASEAN diplomatic missions, communities of each ASEAN member country, and ASEAN Women's Circle among others participated in the 2 km walk.
