Visa for Pakistani Nationality With Diplomatic or Official Passport

(For other nationalities, please refer to Country Category Visa Application requirements at http://www.mfa.gov.bn/Pages/Visa-Information.aspx)


For applicants planning to stay or visit Brunei for less than 14 days

Pakistan nationals with Diplomatic or Official passports are allowed to stay or visit Brunei without visa for up to 14 days.

However, to avoid any risk of inconvenience at any exit points in Pakistan, it is recommended that applicants follow these steps:

Individual or small group

STEP 1: Applicant or a representative make an appointment with the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Islamabad and to submit:

a.     Original passports with no less than six-months remaining validity.

b.     A duly filled visa application form.

(Visa application form available from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Brunei Darussalam.)

c.     Two (2) passport-size photographs.

d.     A copy of confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

e.     Any other supporting documents.

 

STEP 2: The High Commission of Brunei Darussalam will stamp on the passport. No visa fees will be imposed.

 

Large delegation

 

STEP 1: Applicant or a representative make an appointment with the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Islamabad and to submit:

a.     A letter or TPN from applicants requesting for an exemption of visa on the grounds of holding diplomatic / official passports.

b.     A copy of passport with not less than six-months remaining validity.

c.     A copy of confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

d.     Any other supporting documents.

 

STEP 2: The High Commission of Brunei Darussalam will release a letter certifying visa exemption for the delegation.

 

For applicants planning to stay or visit Brunei for more than 14 days

Pakistan nationals with Diplomatic or Official passports that are planning to stay or visit Brunei for more than 14 days are required to apply for visa.

Please refer to the visa process under categories such as Social Visit/Business/Professional visa.

 

Social Visit Visa for Pakistani Nationality

For applicants who have a sponsor in Brunei

 

STEP 1: The sponsor should apply for the applicant's visa directly to the Immigration Department in Brunei Darussalam for approval.

 

STEP 2: Once approved, the Immigration Department of Brunei Darussalam will notify the sponsor of the applicant and the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam of any approved visa application via email or other form of communication.

 

STEP 3: Then the applicant is required to make an appointment with the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Islamabad and to bring:

a.     A duly filled visa application form.

(Visa application form available from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Brunei Darussalam.)

b.     Copy of the immigration approval letter.

c.     Original passport with no less than six-months remaining validity.

d.     Two (2) passport-size photographs.

e.     A confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

f.      A copy of proof of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam eg. hotel reservation or address of stay in Brunei Darussalam

g.     A copy of the applicants' Bank Statement.

h.     A valid polio vaccination certification.

i.      Exact amount of Rs. 3,000 for each visa application fee. 

 

For applicants who do not have any sponsor in Brunei

 

STEP 1: All applicants must submit the following documents the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Islamabad:

a.     A cover letter from applicant requesting for visa.

b.     A duly filled visa application form.

(Visa application form available from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Brunei Darussalam.)

c.     A copy of passport with not less than six-months remaining validity.

d.     A copy of confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

e.     Two (2) passport-size photographs.

f.      A confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

g.     A copy of proof of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam eg. hotel reservation or address of stay in Brunei Darussalam

h.     A copy of the applicants' Bank Statement.

i.      A valid polio vaccination certification.

 

STEP 2: The High Commission of Brunei Darussalam will send the Visa Application to the Immigration Department in Brunei Darussalam for approval.

 

STEP 3: Once approved, the Immigration Department of Brunei Darussalam will notify the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam of any approved visa application via email or other form of communication. The High Commission will then notify the applicant through phone or email.

 

STEP 4: Applicant is required to make an appointment with the High Commission and bring:

a.     Original passport with no less than six-months remaining validity.

b.     A confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

c.     A copy of proof of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam eg. hotel reservation or address of stay in Brunei Darussalam

d.     Exact amount of Rs. 3,000 for each visa application fee. 

 

NOTE:

·       The High Commission reserves the right to reject an application that does not comply with the above requirement.

·       Diplomatic and Official Passport holders are not imposed with any Visa Fees.





Business / Professional Visit Visa for Pakistani Nationality

STEP 1: The applicant's sponsor in Brunei Darussalam (eg. companies, business representatives, government agencies, education institute, etc) should apply for the applicant's visa directly to the Immigration Department in Brunei Darussalam.

 

STEP 2: Once approved, the Immigration Department of Brunei Darussalam will notify the sponsor of the applicant and the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam of any approved visa application via email or other form of communication.

 

STEP 3: Applicant is required to make an appointment with the High Commission and to bring:

a.     Original passport with no less than six-months remaining validity.

b.     Copy of the immigration approval letter.

c.     A duly filled visa application form.

(Visa application form available from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Brunei Darussalam.)

d.     A copy of confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

e.     Two (2) passport-size photographs.

f.      A confirmed return air ticket and flight itinerary.

g.     A copy of proof of accommodation in Brunei Darussalam eg. hotel reservation or address of stay in Brunei Darussalam

h.     A valid polio vaccination certification.

i.      Copy of the invitation letter or sponsorship letter or any other supporting documents from the associated companies, business representatives, government agencies, etc.

j.      Exact amount of Rs. 3,000 for each visa application fee.

 

NOTE:

·       The High Commission reserves the right to reject an application that does not comply with the above requirement.

·       Diplomatic and Official Passport holders are not imposed with any Visa Fees.


Employment Visa for Pakistani Nationality

STEP 1: The applicant's employer in Brunei Darussalam should apply for your visa directly to the Immigration Department in Brunei Darussalam.

 

STEP 2: Once approved, the Immigration Department of Brunei Darussalam will notify the employer and the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam of any approved visa application via email or other form of communication.

 

STEP 3: Applicant is required to make an appointment with the High Commission and to bring:

a.     Original passport with no less than six-months remaining validity.

b.     Copy of the immigration approval letter.

c.     A duly filled visa application form.

(Visa application form available from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Brunei Darussalam.)

d.     A copy of confirmed single air ticket and flight itinerary.

e.     Two (2) passport-size photographs.

f.      Exact amount of Rs. 3,000 for each visa application fee.

g.     A duly filled medical form after medical check-up including a valid polio vaccination.

 

NOTE:

·       The High Commission reserves the right to reject an application that does not comply with the above requirement.

·       Diplomatic and Official Passport holders are not imposed with any Visa Fees.


 

Important Notices:

1.     Visa applications are only accepted by the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam STRICTLY during working days from MONDAY to THURSDAY between 9.00am to 11.00am.

 

2.     Applicants must make an appointment before coming to the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam to ensure that their applications can be processed within the same day without undue delay.

 

3.     Visa application with proper and valid documents can be processed on the same day of application.  Applicants are not to leave the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam without their passports and other relevant documents whether their visa applications have been approved or otherwise.

 

4.     It is illegal for any applicant to offer any financial or material form of gratification to any staff of the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam and such gesture is regarded as a corrupt practice and will be reported to the appropriate authority.

 

The High Commission of Brunei Darussalam does not appoint any external agency to process visa application and any application using such illegal service will be rejected.
