ESTABLISHMENT OF THE DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS
 

The Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia have decided to establish diplomatic relations with effect from 1^st  August 2007.

The signing of the Joint Communiqué took place at the Office of the Permanent Representatives of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations, New York.

The Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was represented by His Excellency Haji Emran bin Bahar, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to New York whilst the Government of the Republic of Macedonia was represented by His Excellency Igor Dzundev, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Macedonia.
