ACTING MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE LEAVES FOR YANGON, MYANMAR TO ATTEND ASEAN-UN INTERNATIONAL PLEDGING CONFERENCE 

 

HRH Princess Hajah Masna, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Y.B. Pehin Lim Jock Seng, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade before Her Royal Highness’ departure  to Yangon, Myanmar.  Also present at the Brunei International Airport is H.E. U Tin Htun, Ambassador of Myanmar.
 

24 May 2008 - Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, this morning left for Yangon, Myanmar to attend the ASEAN-UN International Pledging Conference to be held on 25 May 2008.

The conference will discuss assistance to be offered by the international community in the relief and rehabilitation efforts of Myanmar following Cyclone Nargis.

Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz.
