His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed
Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs
and Trade, today attended the ASEAN
Foreign Ministers’ Working Lunch and
Retreat at Sentosa, Singapore.
Before the start of the Retreat, a
ceremony was held in which the
Secretary-General of ASEAN
acknowledged the depository of the
Instrument of the Ratification of
the ASEAN Charter by Brunei
Darussalam which was submitted on 15
February. The Secretary-General also
received the respective Instruments
of Ratification of the ASEAN Charter
from Lao PDR and Malaysia.
During the afternoon’s Retreat, the
ASEAN Foreign Ministers discussed
international and regional affairs,
particularly the follow-up work on
the ASEAN Charter.
Their Royal Highnesses will leave
Singapore for Brunei Darussalam
tomorrow. |
