Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien
Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan
and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei
Darussalam, this afternoon held a
bilateral meeting with The Right
Honourable Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji
Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of
Malaysia. The Meeting was held at
the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.
During the meeting, His Majesty and
the Prime Minister exchanged views
on bilateral relations. Both sides
expressed satisfaction with the
existing ties and friendship between
Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia, and
discussed ways to further strengthen
cooperation in various fields such
as trade, foreign direct investment
and other areas of mutual interest.
His Majesty and the Prime Minister
also discussed regional and
international developments. |
