17 November 2007 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, today received His Excellency Somdy Bounkhoum, the new Lao People’s Democratic Republic Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.

His Royal Highness welcomed the Ambassador and discussed bilateral matters.

Prior to his appointment, His Excellency Somdy Bounkhoum was Permanent Secretary of the Committee for External Relations of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
