3 September 2007 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, today hosted a farewell luncheon for His Excellency Bounthong Vongsaly, the outgoing Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and Madam Khamphet Vongsaly; and His Excellency U Tin Htun, the outgoing Ambassador of the Union of Myanmar and Madam Nang Phaung, at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.

His Excellency Bounthong Vongsaly has been Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam since July 2001.

His Excellency U Tin Htun has been Ambassador of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam since November 2005.
