Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Receives Newly Appointed Foreign Envoys

8 August 2007 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, today received four newly-appointed foreign envoys: Their Excellencies Dato’ Ku Jaafar bin Ku Shaari of Malaysia; Pham Binh Man of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam: Ali Ibhrahima Sylla of the Republic of Guinea; and, Sisa Ngombane of the Republic of South Africa, at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.

His Royal Highness welcomed the new envoys and discussed bilateral matters.

Prior to his appointment, High Commissioner Dato’ Ku Jaafar bin Ku Shaari was the Ambassador of Malaysia to Qatar.

Ambassador Pham Binh Man was the Deputy Director General, Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Department, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

Ambassador Ali Ibhrahima Sylla and  High Commissioner Sisa Ngombane  are currently based in Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur respectively
