MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE ATTENDS MEETING IN MANILA


His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade (right) is greeted by His Excellency Alberto G. Romulo, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines and Chairman of the 40th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, before the start of the South East Asia Nuclear Weapons-Free Zone (SEANWFZ) Commission Meeting at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila on 29 July 2007.

29 July 2007 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, this afternoon attended the Meeting of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon Free-Zone (SEANFWZ) Commission at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila.

Ministers reviewed the implementation of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon Free-Zone Treaty and endorsed a plan of action to strengthen the Treaty.

Later in the evening, His Royal Highness and other Foreign Ministers of ASEAN, attended an Informal Working Dinner hosted by His Excellency Alberto G. Romulo, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines and Chairman of the 40th ASEAN Standing Committee at the International Convention Centre.
