MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE GRANTS AUDIENCES TO FOUR NEWLY APPOINTED FOREIGN ENVOYS  

7 February 2007 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade received in
audiences at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan four newly-appointed non-resident foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam: Their Excellencies Tamas Magda of Hungary, Christiaan Cornelis Sanders of the Netherlands, Hamza Yahia-Cherif of Algeria, and Petru Petra of Romania.

His Royal Highness welcomed the new envoys and discussed bilateral matters. 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Tamas Magda of Hungary. Ambassador Tamas Magda was made  Ambassador of Hungary to Singapore in 2005. 

 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Christiaan Cornelis Sanders of the Netherlands.

Ambassador Christiaan Sanders was previous appointments were Netherlands’s Ambassador to Oman from 1991 to 1995, Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva, Switzerland from 1999 to 2005.


His Excellency is currently Ambassador of the Netherlands to Singapore.
 

 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Hamza Yahia-Cherif of Algeria.

His Excellency was posted to Indonesia in January 2005. His Excellency became Algerian Ambassador to Singapore in October 2005, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Petru Petra of Romania.

His Excellency was Ambassador to India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in 1999 to 2003. He was made Ambassador to Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam in September 2006.
