MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE GRANTS AUDIENCES TO THREE NEWLY APPOINTED FOREIGN ENVOYS  

 

6 November 2006 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade received in
audiences at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan to three newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam: Their Excellencies Leopold Alfred Battel of Canada; Hashimoto Itsuo of Japan and Mpumelelo Joseph N. Hlophe of the Kingdom of Swaziland.

His Royal Highness welcomed the three new envoys and discussed bilateral matters.
 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Leopold Alfred Battel of Canada. Prior to his appointment, High Commissioner Leopold Alfred Battel was a Counsellor (Commercial) at the Embassy of Canada in Paris.

 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Hashimoto Itsuo of Japan. His Excellency Hashimoto Itsuo was previously the Managing Director, Council of Local Authorities for International Relations of Japan.

 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Mpumelelo Joseph N. Hlophe of the Kingdom of Swaziland. His Excellency Mpumelelo Joseph N. Hlophe is currently the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Swaziland based in Kuala Lumpur.
