21 September 2006 - Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz, attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China at the International Convention Centre, Berakas to mark the 15th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China and the 57th Anniversary of the National Day of China.

At the reception, Her Royal Highness and Her Excellency Yang Yanyi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China later inaugurated the launching ceremony of “A Collection of Historical Documents Related to Bilateral Relations between Brunei Darussalam and China”, a project undertaken by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China.

Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China established diplomatic relations on 30 September 1991.
