MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE LEAVES FOR BEIJING ON AN EIGHT-DAY VISIT TO THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

 

 

2 September 2006 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, left for Beijing, on an eight-day visit to the People’s Republic of China upon the invitation of the Government of the People’s Republic of China.

His Royal Highness will meet His Excellency Li Zhaoxing, Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China for bilateral discussions and call on Premier Wen Jiabao and State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan. His Royal Highness will also visit Shanghai and Hong Kong.

This year is the 15th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China.
