27 June 2006 – Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade left for Tokyo, Japan to attend the East Asia Ministerial Meeting on Gender Equality. The meeting, to be held on 30 June - 1 July 2006.

The theme of the two-day meeting is “Towards Gender Equality in East Asia”. Ministers will discuss ways to promote gender equality in East Asia and also to accelerate the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.

Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz.
