MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE ATTENDS MEETING OF NON-ALIGNED MOVEMENT

29 May 2006 -His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam attended the opening of the Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The meeting was opened by Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

His Royal Highness, this afternoon delivered a statement to the Meeting on the theme: “Towards a more dynamic and cohesive Non-Aligned

His Royal Highness, later held bilateral talks with Their Excellencies Jean de Diew Somda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso (left) and Abdullahi Sheik Ismail, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia (right).

His Royal Highness this evening attended a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
