AFFAIRS AND TRADE HOLDS BILATERAL MEETINGS
AND ATTENDS DINNER

23 May 2006 - His Royal Highness
Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign
Affairs and Trade held three bilateral
meetings in Doha, the State of Qatar.
His Royal Highness met The Hon. Dr Ahmed
Rashid Beebeajun, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Public Infrastructure, Land
Transport and Shipping of the Republic of
Mauritius. The Ministers discussed bilateral
matters. |

His Royal Highness also met His Excellency
Ban Ki-Moon, Minister of Foreign Affairs and
Trade of the Republic of Korea. During the
Meeting, the two ministers also discussed
bilateral matters. |

His Royal Highness later met His Excellency
Taro Aso, Minister of Foreign Affairs of
Japan where both ministers agreed to start
negotiations on the Brunei Darussalam-Japan
Economic Partnership Agreement. |

In the evening, His Royal Highness joined
other ACD Ministers at a dinner hosted by
His Royal Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad
Al-Thani, Heir Apparent of the State of
Qatar.
