January 2006 – His Majesty the
Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei
Darussalam consented to receive
Letters of Credentials from four
newly-appointed non-resident foreign
envoys to Brunei Darussalam at the
Istana Nurul Iman. They are H.E.
Marcos Caramuru de Paiva, Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
the Federative Republic of Brazil;
H.E. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Jaafar,
Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the Islamic
Republic of Mauritania; H.E. Jean
Bretéché, Head of Delegation of the
European Commission; and H.E.
Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In separate ceremonies at the Istana
Nurul Iman, His Majesty also granted
audiences to the four new foreign
Heads of Missions to Brunei
Darussalam. |
