MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE GRANTS AUDIENCES TO FOUR NEWLY APPOINTED NON-RESIDENT FOREIGN ENVOYS  

24th January 2006 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade received in audiences at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan to four newly-appointed non-resident foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam: Their Excellencies Marcos Caramuru de Paiva of the Federative Republic of Brazil; Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Jaafar of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania; Jean Bretéché of the European Commission; and Mukhtar Tileuberdi of Kazakhstan.

His Royal Highness welcomed the four new envoys and discussed bilateral matters. 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Marcos Caramuru de Paiva, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Federative Republic of Brazil to Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency is currently based in Kuala Lumpur.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Jaafar, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency is currently based in Tokyo.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Jean Bretéché , the newly appointed Head of Delegation of the European Commission. His Excellency is currently based in Jakarta.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan. His Excellency is currently based in Kuala Lumpur
