HRH MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE RECEIVES THREE NEWLY-APPOINTED FOREIGN ENVOYS  

14 January 2006 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade granted audiences at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan to three newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Syed Haidar Jawed of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; H.E. Herijanto Soeprapto of the Republic of Indonesia and H.E. Lauri Eero Ilmari Korpinen of Finland.
 
His Royal Highness welcomed the three envoys and discussed bilateral matters.
 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Syed Haidar Jawed, newly appointed High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam. Prior to his appointment, High Commissioner Syed Haidar Jawed served for 38 years in various command and staff appointments of Pakistan Armed Forces and retired as a Major General in the Army Supply Corps in Pakistan. 

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Herijanto Soeprapto, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Herijanto Soeprapto was the Director-General of Asia-Pacific and African Affairs at the Department of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.

 

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam receives a Letter of Credentials from H.E. Lauri Eero Ilmari Korpinen, the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Brunei Darussalam
