3 December 2005 - The Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic held a reception at the International Convention Centre in Berakas to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The Hon. Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Lim Jock Seng, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and spouse, Datin Lim Bee Yong attended the reception as the guest of honour.
