HRH MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE GRANTS AUDIENCES TO FOUR NEWLY-APPOINTED FOREIGN ENVOYS    

1 November 2005 - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade granted audiences at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan to four newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Emil M. Skodon of the United States of America; H.E. Hwang Won-kun of the Republic of Korea; H.E. U Tin Htun of the Union of Myanmar; and H.E. Ahmad bin Mohammed bin Zaher Al-Hinai of the Sultanate of Oman.

His Royal Highness welcomed the four envoys and discussed bilateral matters.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Emil M. Skodon, newly appointed Ambassador of the USA to Brunei Darussalam. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Skodon was the Deputy Chief of Missions at the United States Embassy in Rome, Italy.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Hwang Won-kun, newly appointed Ambassador of Korea to Brunei Darussalam. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Hwang Won-kun was previously Minister at the Korean Embassy in Canada.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. U Tin Htun, newly appointed Ambassador of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam. Ambassador U Tin Htun was previously Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of the Philippines.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah receives H.E. Ahmad bin Mohamed bin Zaher Al-Hinai, newly appointed Ambassador of Oman to Brunei Darussalam. Ambassador Ahmad Al-Hinai was previously Oman’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Germany.
